The diagram showed a number of parts before they were released. The mirror covers are the last part to come. Im thinking they may release them at the same time as the CF interior trim, which should be in the next few months

Ok .. I could get em for 900. What do you guys think?
I really need an opinion on this because my 'mod list' has gotten pretty pricey and another 1k into the car ... BAH - I'm ready to pull the trigger. Is 900 worth it? |

I'm actually glad that BMW has begun producing OEM CF parts. The fitment will be awesome. Now only if they were a bit more liberal in terms of pricing. To be fair though, the CF front splitters/read decklid for the E90 aren't priced too expensively. |

That's way too much for just a cover. It doesn't save weight or anything so if you think it's worth $900 solely based on looks then whatever, its your money.

honestly when you "carbon Fiber" you car out...doesnt really look very performance oriented, maybe because its been used and is ALL over Ricers and makes the bmw drop to that level...the CF isnt very functional, ok i can admit with a trunk hood and bumpermounts you are saving weight, but these tiny little accents for that steep of a price...ill pass, my opinion on Cf. but to each their own.

I share a similar sentiment with regards to the over-usage of CF. It ruins many, many vehicles. |

$900? Is it worth it? I wouldn't do it because of the price and because my Black Sapphire mirrors wouldn't look that much better in CF. Just remember this one thing: It's expensive to be cool.

thanks guys .. you've just been able to accomplish what my parents and later wife have been trying to do for years - knock some common sense into my stupid ass.
900 is pricey and while I love the look of cf, especially on SG, I'm gonna wait for the OEM or cheaper replicas. |
