Possibility of Sparkling Graphite on MY2009 335

I know it's a LONG shot, but has ANYONE ever managed to convince BMW/BMWNA to paint a custom oredered car a recently discontinued color?

Basically I want to get Sparkling Graphite / Oyster to replace my recently totaled '08 SG/Lemon but the SG was discontinued for the '09 model and there's nothing that quite comes close. I only hold out hope because they still make the SG paint for the 1 series.

Any tips? (other than buying another color and getting a completely new paint job when it arrives to the US)

I doubt it's available as an Individual Option, but if it is and you're willing to move to Europe, it could be yours.

Special order paint. Contact Will at Longbeach BMW. He has special ordered some paints.

damn.. that sucks sparkling graphite was discontinued..didnt know that. Check out Space Gray, i like it just the same, maybe more. A little bit of a cooler gray.. GL
