doing donuts on xi mess up car?
Today i went to a empty parking lot and turned all traction off (3 secs until you get the ! mark) than i turned the steering wheel and floored it.
Didnt know xi's can do donuts but it sure does.... My question is that if i do many donuts would my alignment get messed up or anything i should worry bout other than tires? I dont do much donuts but was just bored and wondering. Also anyone had any experience with xi's doing burnouts and donuts? Thanks.

I'm not sure if this applies to the 335, but I remember to many doughnuts in the evo at full lock would burn out the steering pump quick! Other then that I don't think doughnuts would do a damn thing to the car except wear the tires quicker.

Thanks, doing donuts on my previous FWD cars LOL.
04 TL and 05 Maxima. The car was driving and leaning towards one side after many donuts or "wanna be donuts" i was doing with my FWD.

LOL Nice...
Best thing about doughnuts in an AWD your whole car spins in a nice circle as with the RWD the rear end just swings around the front.

Snow donuts are the best. We have this huge parking lot I slowly creep in crank the wheel floor it! Go through a few gears, stop, breath. Yell then drive safely home in my AWD mobile.

I had a rough time trying to get the XI coupe to do donoughts on pavement. So I'm guessing it's a little harsh on the car. Snow is another thing - big parking lot, traction control off ...

Besides screwing w/ your alignment a little and wearing down your tires, I don't think it would cause too much of an issue with the car. Maybe if you were overly harsh with flooring it and if the pavement was uneven, then you could have some suspension or drivetrain issues.

your car will be fine. even if you break anything (which most likely WONT happen), take it back to your dealer for warranty work.
