Winter in Dallas area

What do you any of you DFW guys/gals do for winter here as far as tire setup? If you have bought performance summer tires that is.

I would hate to get A/S tires for the 1-2 months where it hits below 40 around here. Do you find its that big of a problem or do you change out your wheels/tires?

Um, I really wouldn't worry about the winters in north Texas.

Only 2-3 days max when the summer tires become dangerous, and on those days you just drive like a sane person. Summer tires on ice with my 540i was a lot of fun and nearly impossible but like I said it was only 1 day.

I used the Bridgestone summer tires last winter, and they drove fine here.
