i spent the past 2 hours looking online and trying to figure out gay itunes. it would be so much easier if there is another drive in the my computer menue (where you see your hard drive, disc drives, etc). i mean if there was another drive there for iphone wouldn't it be much easier to go into the folder copy and paste photos, videos, etc?

instead i have to go through this itunes bs.

1. first question is in itunes, should i leave the automatically sync iphone to pc when connected? what exactly is this option? is it backing up the iphone or something?

2. i figured out how to make custom ringtones in itunes from (ehow.com). but how do i move the photos i have from my iphone to my pc so i can print, share, etc? adding music and video is a no brainer but i couldn't find a way to get files from the iphone to my pc.

3. how do i install apps onto my iphone without the app store? i want this app here and i downloaded the file and extracted it to have a .app folder (http://code.google.com/p/iphone-converter/). my iphone is jailbroken/unlocked and has only cydia on it. same goes for this software here: http://www.iphonevideorecorder.com/

4. is it safe to connect the iphone to pc without the dock and just hook it up with the usb cable?

once again if there was a seperate drive for iphone i could just copy and paste this file into the folder and have it on my iphone. but no i have to go through itunes and i can't even put the file on the applications tab.

im lost, confused, and frustrated need help. thanks guys.
