Any investment real estate guys? :)
Hey All,
I'm quite interested in learning more about investment real estate and I'm trying to find good, reliable sources of information. What's more reliable than e90post??! I figured I might as well ask, right? Anyone into investment real estate and have some info for me or want to get together to talk? Thanks! |

location location location.
seriously, wait bit more prices will fall. Dont think its cheap now, because valuations are one thing, but when it comes to selling is another. Liquidity is big issue, all of a sudden real estate is no longer a heaven to keep your money because in current market if sh.t hits the fan you will have to settle for ANY kind of price. Cash is king today baby, and getting financed is harder then before - hence not many buyers. If you get lucky you can find one of those deals, but they will either high 6 figure dollar houses going for like 30-50% less (so still a lot!) or sh.t holes repoed by bank... bottom line, location is important, in tough times those in good places dont lose value as much.

I have a buddy who joined a MLM realestate group and he most valued the education he received from it.
http://www.meetup.com/search/?keywor...w&jsCountry=us This is the kinda thing he would go to meet "fresh meat" and kick around investment ideas. Gamblers play poker, racers go to K1Speed, investors play CashFlow. There has to be something similar in your area. ________ Live sex Last edited by satakal; 08-16-2011 at 06:13 PM.. |

I was too on the way of planning my investments in a better way and had found a good investing company that really helped me to plan good investments in real estate. There are many types of investments and I hope that investing in real estate will be a good option for you.

Hire a good financial consultant. He/she will advise you on having real estate as part of your portfolio. DO NOT listen to others or attend those 'get rich in real estate' events. Those who 'advise' on real estate investments are making more money off of you then off of real estate.
You need a good finance/investment counselor. A real one. Shop around, get references. Mine is up in SF and we meet about once a month in person. He charges me a percentage of my portfolio to manage it. It's in his best interest to increase its value. Be conservative. Like everything else, money grows with time and proper care. Good luck. |
