Displaying song titles with Idrive
I did a search on this and found lots of threads.
It seems many people have problems burning MP3 cds and then being able to display song titles on the idrive screen. I was able to burn the MP3 cd using nero. song titles appear as shown in this picture. But when I go to the map view, in the bottom of the screen, I only get the "MP3 049" meaning that i'm on the 49th song in the MP3 cd. No song titles as in the previous picture. When, I switch to the radio, on some stations, I can get the title/singer for the current song. My question is: is it possible to display song titles on the bottom of the screen when you are on the map view?

I can't help with the specific problem you posted, but I do want to comment that you aren't using Nero to its fullest potential, assuming that you have the full version (and not a stripped-down version that sometimes comes with CD/DVD drives.)
I can tell this because the songs in your 1st picture that aren't playing have the titles truncated to 8 characters. You should be able to see the full name. Check out this post: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...81&postcount=6 |

damn i dunno if my car can play the mp3 cd, i gotta try that tomorrow argh!
i've got that software update but i thought my car still cant play the mp3 cd, i'll update tomorrow

My E46 radio can display more characters than E90 idrive, can that be mod to display more character and RDS at the same time ? Thx
