php or asp.NET ?
Okay so I got the xHTML and CSS programming down now I need to learn how to build a shopping cart. There seems to be two ways to do this, php and .net. Any of you web guys know which one is better and what i should learn? And which one has a better integration with Dreamweaver.

Learn both .. No need to build a shopping cart though .. Just use osCommerce and modify it for your needs .. No need to reinvent the wheel

Learn both, then implement it in whichever language the client asks you to. If you're doing this to teach yourself (ie. you're your own client) then learning both is good. There's no such thing as a "better" language, but rather a "better" language for the task, environment, load, etc. and for a shopping cart app you can't go wrong with either. As for ASP.NET you can download a free trial of Visual Studio or the Web Developer Express flavor of the IDE instead of using Dreamweaver.
