This is the second gen. Borla exhaust system. The mufflers have been used for about 2 hours but all the rest of the system, including hardware is brand new.

My wife thought the 2nd gen. mufflers were too loud (although I preferred them

).

did this system sound any louder than stock? your post would imply so, but i've heard that the borla system isn't much different than stock, just less restrictive. i appreciate your honest feedback!

It's much louder that stock, especially around 1800-2200 where it has a bit of a drone. The funny part, it must be alot less than the other catbacks out there because Borla apparently had comments their first gen. unit wasn't "sporty" sounding enough. That, plus the two separate mufflers probably helps in the hp department for the second gen one.
