We don't know a whole lot more than you do at this point. I haven't even seen one of these kits yet, but it does seem like you may have to remove the phone from the cradle to connect it to the aux. Silly, I know. But hey, we didn't design it!

you wont be able to listen to music, its basically a car charger, I orderd two for my 06 330 and one for a buddy his 330 was produced on 10/05 so he is missing the 3 additional wires that are locatedt in the trunk. So his cradle does not charge the phone? i my car was produced 04/05 and has all the connections if you have the 6fl or are getting the 6fl go with that! iphone will work we tried it our in my brothers 335 with Nave and I drive everthing works from steering wheel, will display albums artis songs, genre, play list all in text format.

Is there any way we can contact BMW (email?) to request that the Snap In adapter be redesigned to allow integration with the 6FL option?

It's rediculous that you can't use both at the same time. I mean, all the wiring is right there - it's just a matter of having a new cable adapter to get everything connected properly.

I've been using a BMW CPT8000 (Motorola Timeport) for years in a E39, and I love having a built-in cradle for the phone.

I want the iPod functionality, but I also want the nice snap-in cradle and use of the external antaenna for the iPhone all at the same time!

Honestly, that's a good question that I don't know the answer to. I think someone would have to try it for us to know for sure, as BMW hasn't addressed it yet.

They have a Pearl holder currently available, but that's about it for now. I honestly couldn't say if they're planning on offering anything more for Blackberries though.
