Anyone in Nor-Cal area done this? Manu sent me some directions on how to do so for the TPMS sensors, though as simple as it is, I'm trying to find someone to do it up in the Nor-cal area that is familiar or has done it before?

Directions from Manu, at DPE

1. The hole will be 180 degrees from the current valve stem hole.





2. Drill half way between the beginning and the end of the radius on the
drop center part of the inner [shown in the drawing]





3. AJ then uses a ¼" spot drill to make a small hole so the 7/16" drill
does not walk all over the inner. [You can also use a punch or something
else if you want]





4. Then drill with the 7/16" drill bit over the hole you spot drilled (or
punched).

why drill? Can't you just buy the slimmer valve stems?

I just did this today and all I did was have them transfer the sensor from the OEM wheels to the new wheels.

its not a slim valve stem, its the base of the tpms that needs to sit in the wheel i assume

either way, tpms works for most wheels, most other wheels that have the deep dish (hre/dpe/iforged, etc) need some sort of strap or extra hole depending on where the valve stem is located

i would just get the 90 degree valve stems that holds the tpms inside. the straps can get loose. they look like this

ah yea i saw the example of that, but i just ended up buyin the straps, didnt know where to buy those from, thanks for the info
