help with tire size for all seasons for my XI coupe

i have the upgraded 18" wheels with the stock summer RFTs which i should not be using in the winter. what size tires should i get for the stock 18" wheels? should the stock stagger 225/40 255/35 be fine?

i dont think i need dedicated winter tires and AS should be fine with my XI in CT.

looking at the Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season

The front 18X8 wheels can take 225/40R18 or 235/40R18
The rear 18X8.5 wheels can accept 225/40R18, 235/40R18 or 255/35R18.

Keep in mind that the all wheel drive will help dramatically in getting moving forward in snow, but you'll have the same problems in stopping on snow and ice as the standard rear wheel drive E92. IMO if you're using a set of wheels for winter use only, you should reconsider putting all season tires on them.

thanks for the tire sizes. that deff helps.. i was considering the AS because there were not many winter tires for the stock tire sizes and i wasn't looking to spend over 1k for tires that prob will not see huge amounts of snow but much more dry asphalt. now that i have more tire size options i will take a look. i had the blizzak LM-25s on my IS300 and they were extremely great in dry and great in some of the little snow we had.
