Last of the 2008s: Transport Delays?

I have a 2008 E90 335i on order, but it seems to be taking a rather long time to arrive. It appears that the boat has encountered some rough weather and is delayed. Does anyone happen to have a car on this boat...or do I appear to be a complete idiot?

BTW, Im TitanSilber ZHP from e46fanatics.com

Do you have the production number?

If so, call this number, 1-800-831-1117, and speak to a representative. Ask them for the VIN number for the car.

Once you get the VIN, go to 2wglobal.com, then Customer Centre > Cargo Tracking > RoRo Cargo. Enter in your VIN and it'll tell you which ship you are on and ETA.

Thank you for the information!

I did a little research and the car was in 155 (finished) status as of 7/14/08 and it still has not arrived (Due in Brunswick, Ga 9/9/08) ? Is this normal? Here is the tracking (Fedora):

Garage List
Based on what I've seen, that's pretty normal. It usually takes 8-12 weeks for the whole process to be finished from build to delivery, so you're on track for that.

No prob

Yeah everything looks normal. It takes about 19 days for the ship to go from Bremerhaven to Brunswick. Mine left on the 7th and got here on the 26th (Tuesday). I'm surprised it took so long for your car to get on a ship if it was completed on 7/14. My car was completed on 7/31 and got on a ship a week later.

My best guess is that you'll have your car by the 16th, depending on how many cars are at the VPC.

Maybe Im ignorant in my thinking, or just impatient, but a car built after mine is arrive 3 weeks before mine gets here? I must be missing something, haha.

Congrats though!

Yeah, That's weird. My car was comlpleted on 7/7, I took ED on the 7/22, turned it in on the 28, and was on a boat 8/4. I'll have the car via PCD on 9/15 and that's with the install of the M-aero kit...

So the car still has not arrived, and the MTech kit wont even be finished until Tuesday (supposedly).

This is pure insanity.

Built 7/14...still not delievered 9/20 (and counting)
