Multiple phones in car bluetooth question
Does bluetooth have a "primary" and "secondary" phone when you pair more than one to the car? If my wife and I are in the car, both with paired phones, and I press the voice command button and say "dial Dad"...which list is it going to go for...my phone's list of Dad or her phone's list of Dad?
Same principle for scrolling through phonebook entries on the radio screen...which list is it looking at...can I toggle between them? |

So, this would also mean that if we are both riding in the car, we couldn't have calls from both phones come through the car...just whichever one is paired, correct? |

This is how it works on my car. I have IDRIVE
Phones 1-Razor 2-SX66 Phone 1 was paired first so I Assume its Primary. A few weeks later phone 2 paired. Phone 1 was turned off. When I turn on car it tries to connect to primary phone, if it isnt found it connects to 2nd phone. I can switch between phone 1 and phone 2 by A. Turning off phone 1 B. Going into the communications settings and making phone 2 primary. |
