Lexus at SEMA: 800hp IS-F?

Full Story and Photos

Quote:
SEMA PREVIEW:
LEXUS TO SHOW FOUR MODIFIED IS-Fs INCLUDING VORSTEINER IS-F and 800HP WIDEBODY IS-F

After making a huge impact at last year’s SEMA Show, Lexus is returning for 2008 in full force. The Japanese luxury brand has given four IS-F sport sedans to different companies and the finished products will be on display at SEMA. We can confirm that one vehicle was given to Andrew Beckford and RJ de Vera at MotorwordHype.com and will be transformed into a modest but athletic vehicle featuring Vorsteiner aerodynamics, an H&R Springs suspension, Volk wheels and Michelin tires. Beckford from Motorworldhype says a one-off supercharger is in the works for the car but that it likely won’t be ready in time for SEMA.

Fox Marketing (the only company yet to release photos) is building a second car, and, claims Brian Fox, will make 800hp thanks to a twin turbo setup. This car will most likely be the most extreme IS-F at the show and will also have a widebody kit, iForged wheels and a Callaway golf theme.

Still looks full of fail. You could give it a million horses and I would still rather have an M3.

I agree with his post, but I'm completely against his sig. Completely against it. Like, opposite end of the spectrum.

I won't jack this thread, but I will say this: the F01 is a logical progression of the design language. As x5love said waaaay back, it's always been revolution, evolution, revolution etc etc.

The only things I find tacky are the exhaust tips. Can't hate on it much more than that. It has that stupid little chrome strip on the back, but that's been on most luxury cars for as long as I can remember. The strip on the front is necessary imo. It's too bland without it.

I'm indifferent in regards to the headlight tabs.

Yeah, that's cool. Let's throw these on there while we're at it.

Like I said, I won't jack the thread. I'll leave you with your opinion, but honestly I don't see anything wrong with it. Completely incomparable to what you just posted, but I won't argue about a nicely integrated piece of aluminum decor versus tacked-on portholes. If you see the similarity then so be it.

IS-F = FAIL
Modded IS-F = FAIL

Stock M3 > Modded IS-F
