Front sport mesh

Is it possible to remove the lower plastic mesh surrounding the front fog lights,(sport model) without removing the whole bumper? or is it a case of pulling it.

I believe you have to take the front bumper off to do anything relating to the lower mesh apart from painting it (some people here have painted the lower mesh while leaving the bumper on).

Thanks guy's!!! had the lower corner painted today and the sprayer did not remove the mesh.. so you can just about see where he has masked it off, i was going to remove the mesh and try and smooth it over with my megs polisher. looks like i'm stuck then!....Oh well.. The art to perfection never ends!!!
