The Logic7 is worth every penny IMO.

I had a E92 328i before without Logic7 and my current E92 335xi has it, and the difference is literally night and day.

Go for it. You will regret it if you don't.

i'd have to agree with everyone else here:

- Audiophile: you would go aftermarket, so Logic7 not necessary.
- Audio not necessary: dont get Logic7.
- If you listen to CD/iPod, but unsure: get Logic7.

I was quite impressed with the L7 system that came with the car. My father has a 528xi with the standard and the difference is HUGE. If you don't want to go aftermarket but still listen to music, then Logic7 is a must. I'm so glad mine came standard.

As a audiophile, (home) the logic 7 is excellent and is much better than the previous HK system in the e46 model. Dont get it if you just like radio and listen to the same 3-4 cd's. But for ipod and and multiple cd's yes when you just feel like cruzing on the highway, the logic 7 system gives the bmw a dual personality.

It also does sound better after break-in about 5-10hrs.

13 speakers and a system that is in a Rolls Royce enough said.

I have had several bmw's with a bass tube in the trunk and upgraded speakers and the overall balance of the L7 is much better.

if you like music, you get the logic 7... if you dont give a shiat, like most chicks...and a cassette deck is just as good as a CD kinda mind frame, then dont bother.

I CANNOT have a shiat system in my car, and every time i have a friend step into my ride...they comment on the great sound. My last car was decked out to the tits and didnt get as many compliments, the digital surround on the logic 7 is fantastic. A lil weak on the bass end, i find its kinda front heavy as well...but its QUALITY sound.

I never thought about upgrading the speakers, lol...funny. especially since ive done it with every other car ive owned. I find with the better digital sound in my car now, i wouldnt want to cancel any of it out with over powering bass like i used to have.

It does. All of the 335 prior to the 2009 MY had the Logic7 system standard

Probably they are trying to make the car more expensive because of the weak dollar.

i'd go elsewhere to make the car more expensive. you're just making people go with your standard audio system if you charge 1900 for that thing. honestly it's not that much better.

For my usage, I find it useless. The Hi-Fi system is ok, if you really want audiophile quality you get some $7000 speakers at home.

And besides, you have the great sound of the engine to listen to

For the money you can add another more useful option. This way you will have decent sound and other useful things added to the car.

I'm pleased as punch with the Logic7. It just sounds nice and balanced to me. Very life-like. AND if I want to crank up the sound on a particularly good song...no problemo.

And you'd be right.

The layout of the speakers and the shape of the space inside the cabin makes for a noticeably better listening experience in the sedan.

Can you order USB without Logic7? Just curious, since if I had to do it in 2009 without the standard L7, I'd probably get the basic stereo but I wouldn't want to give up 6FL!

i have logic 7, it came standard with the 06 330i. do you guys actually go into the music menu and check the box that says logic 7? when i select logic 7, it seems like all the music simply moves to the front, but it doesn't really sound better. that said, with my logic 7 function off, i noticed quite a big difference in sound quality between my car and the loaner i get (base model 325/328 without logic 7).
