Turbo Lag?
I know there is a long thread talking about the turbo lag due to the BMW software (post version of 29.2) mostly the 335i drivers from the States.
What's happening to our Canadian drivers here? Anyone solved out the problems with BMW Canada or the dealerships? |

I got the 29.2 program and can feel the lag.. compained several times to the dealer about it. The SA told me he had a couple other complaints about the issue. The service manager was also unhelpful about the issue, as with other issues. Such as the common brake squeal. BMW customer service was relatively useless aswel.
I've had nothing but bad service and attitude from BMW dealers that are supposed to be the best in the city. It's to the point that I aviod booking appointments and just deal with it. It's a shame because I love how the car drives/feels. They kiss your ass before you sign, and afterwards they shit on you. Foolish because customers who buy a car like this usually buy another, and many stay with the brand for life. Can't say I will be doing the same. My car is leased fwiw mag. |

My car was delivered in the stealership near the end of January this year and I assumed it is still the version 27 software. I don't feel any turbo lag since I got this car; however, I will be very pissed off if they update my software for my next service.
For people who got affected with the updated, do you file any compaints to BMW Canada? I don't want to pay the car is not the same as I test drive before I signed the contract / what they advertised in their brochure back in 2007. |

meh, I could care less about the lag. I used to drive an STi with a huge turbo. What concerns me is the shittier mileage people are reporting.
