I've got BMW Assist, Lojack + Early Warning, and am considering the alarm. Condo life means the car is parked outside 24x7 so I want whatever bit of piece-of-mind I can get.

BMW Assist: Great to have because it's quite possibly the quickest and most accurate way to locate your car. Limitation - It relies on GPS and in theory won't work well in garages, under overpasses, etc.

Lojack + Early Warning: They give you an extra key fob to carry around. If the car is driven more than a couple minutes without that fob they notify you. In theory it will even notify you if your car is towed. If you report the car stolen, the Lojack unit broadcasts a beacon with a few-mile range.

BMW-Alarm: Offers Tilt-Sensor and Motion Sensor. If someone tries to steal my wheels at night, the alarm may go off. Plus, it makes the clown nose less appendix-like.

Sorry - I'm not following. Could you please elaborate on what the Alarm does to the "clown nose" that otherwise wouldn't happen?

I was actually planning on doing the same exact thing (my car is garaged but still...). The Early wanring system costs a bit more but I think it's worth it.

Is there anything else it adds?
There's a hood sensor too.

But FYI the interior motion alarm isn't a part of the system if you get a 'vert, (No place to put the sensor).

Buy the alarm! takes less than 30 mins to install if you are handy with tools - DIY

What was not mentioned: When locking (or unlocking) your car the parking lights flash simultaneously too! That way you don't have to second guess yourself whether you actually locked the car or not!

Buy it at Tishcer for $235 P/N: 65120403658 Verify this first.
