car phone preparation option

In the Dutch pricelist there is an option called "preparation for car phone"
Anybody knows what this is?
I was wondering, if this option is chosen, will bluetooth be factory installed and the armrest left empty. Or is it just a preparation and wiring for the antenna?
If the first is true, theoretically a bluetooth compatible phone can be attached?
I'm asking this because I have a 320d on order with navpro and i'm still in doubt if I should pay the extra money for the full phone preparation.
I normally use a Parrot handsfree and it works just fine for me. The reason for getting the phone prep would be mainly voice thingy. The phone option just comes in "handy"

Car Phone Preparation is a prerequisiste for bluetooth or non-bluetooth cellphones. This option adds such items as the wiring harness for telephony and various other items. This does not mean that you'll automatically have bluetooth. It means that if you want bluetooth, you'll have to install upgrade kit 84 64 0 398 229 instead of 84 64 0 398 228. The latter being a much more expensive option.
