Dinan and BMW woes on wastegate issue, won't repair

Wastegate actuators are rattling for the 2nd time after both have been replaced. I've got dinan mufflers and stage 2 software. took it in again to another dealersihp to have the rattle checked and they said it is from the actuators but because of the software and mufflers that are linked to the noise BMW won't approve the repair. Very annoying. Anyone else have issues with this?

Why don't you go to Dinan? IMO the only reason to pay all the extra money to get Dinan is when these types of situations arise. Let them fight for you!

several people have had issues w the wastegates rattling, but I havent heard of anyone getting the fix denied yet, its pretty well documented.

have you contacted Dinan?

From the original post, is sounds like either we need more information, or OP needs to go to a Dinan dealership before jumping to conclusions and leading in with a title that is somewhat false.

hmm, the dealership i went to was a "dinan authorized" dealership that sold and did dinan flashes, i had my dinan flash updated there. I guess i will contact dinan themselves and see what they say.

Seriously though, good luck. I'm sure things will get worked out... eventually. Unfortunately this has been a fairly common issue for some Dinan owners over the years.

I have Dinan stage II flash and BMW is fixing my wastegates right now... under BMW warranty, too... They've already reprogrammed my car, installed new wastegates, and are now replacing a leaking tube that they think is preventing the wastegates from closing.

I had my friends Dinan 335 in the shop last week and they were trying to give him the same run-around but after a couple phone calls, it was all taken care of under the regular bmw warranty...

But still waiting for OP on how his will get resolved.
Dinan can't afford to drop the ball with JB3 popularity, let see less HP, more money and same-ole-same-ole no waranty.

I agree. With the 29.2 shenanigans and multiple warranty worries, I would be willing to pay more than 2x the money for a V3 or JB3 just to make sure I was covered.
