How can you turn off the Auto-volume?

I find it really annoying that my volume changes depending on the speed im at. I would like it to remain constant so im not always having to turn it up again. How can i do this?

Bella,

Here's a scan of the page in the manual for the radio that answers your question.....

I have the S volume at 6. The sound quality seems better...

I believe if you want to turn off the feature you would set S-Volume to 0 or off to keep volume from changing with changes in speed.

You can do it without Idrive. It is very simple, but I forget exactly.

Push the musical note button on the radio dash and its an option under that menu (along with bass, treble, balance, fader, etc.)

Auto Volume

Hello Guys
I am newbie to this forum...

I have a 335i Coupe with iDrive, I used to have similar problem with speed
sensitive volume, but I have figured out a setting on the Logic7 system
which controls the sudden volume level jumps.

I will post the exact settings on the fader and equilizer soon

The speed dependent volume cannot be turned off in any of the OEM sound systems, it only can be set to a minimum but still will be some speed adjustment as a way to overcome increased road noise.

100% true.
You can turn it down but not off.
