what audio set-up do you have?
guys i need help.
I want to install my old sound system on my e90. but the installer said the "BMW professional" stock head unit does not have a pre-amp input. is this true? is there a way around it? i have xtant amp, focal separates, symmetry, solo barric subs. thanks guys |

yea i just used a high to low converter. The best place is called StreetNoyz.com there number is (619) 260-1747

well no. if somethign fails in the car, the dealer has to prove it was your system that caused the issue to happen. warrenty is not automatically void because you put an amp or subs. plus if you dont mess with teh current wiring in the car and you do an amp and subs there should be no problem. In my experience i have never had an issue with this.

One problem though, you have to decide if you really want to upgrade the rears. Reason is that the rear signals from the headunit is only a Hipass level signal, meaning all mid-low to low end frequencies are cut off. Adding amps and replacing speakers don't really make a lot of difference. |
