Vorsteiner Differences (Trunk)

Can somebody please explain to me what the difference is between the -Aero Deck Lid Spoiler and VRS Boot Lid made by Vorsteiner?

The decklid is just the top of the trunk that is a spoiler. Take a look at the 1st picture below- notice how there's a seam near the top of the license plate?

The boot lid on the other hand is the entire trunk lid (where you open and close your trunk). Notice how there is no seam in the 2nd picture? It's because you're replacing the whole lid.

Yup- any time you attach an item on top of another there will always be "seams" (unless you mold it). Some people are fine with that because it's just like a spoiler. For others, there's always the boot lid.

Would you happen to have pictures of the seam on top of the trunk? I would like to see where it cuts off..

If I'm not mistaken, there is a post somewhere that shows a difference in profiles of the lip vs the whole trunk; with the trunk having a much more pronounced rise, versus a less pronounced/flatter curve on the spoiler alone, and that's why I didn't go for the spoiler myself.
I wanted the look of the trunk, but didn't want to deal with storing my trunk in my garage, or deal with any fitment related issues.

That's correct, the trunk is more pronounced than just the spoiler. Here is a profile of the trunk to give you an idea:
