I have not taken my car to the dealer at all so far. The only issue I have is the break squeaking during acceleration from a stop, and the warning light for a light being out (there is no light out, must be the light brightness when you have emergency braking).

Good luck to everyone. It sure does suck that BMW just doesn't replace things on the first visit so they retain customers. This will probably be my last BMW due to how they have handled the 335 issues.
Here in CO they up the ethanol content in the winter to help with the emissions.

In your build group. Pump just failed at 15K. I had slight rough idle but no symptoms

as part of the recall can anyone cofirm some of the 07 builds being included in there? I too would like to get the latest and greatest before the 50K warranty goes bye-bye!
Just like you. 6/22/07 and rough idle but no symptoms at all until suddenly at 15K it died on me in traffic with no warning at all. Cross your fingures. Dealing with the dealer to get pump replaced is a PITA. They will do everything not to replace it. That's right BMW treatment of customers sucks big time. I am going to offer to buy a new pump myself and tell BMW they can kiss my ass goodbye. After buying 5 BMWs I have had it with them. The cars are awesome when they work, but BMW worst to deal with when problems arise. If this were a Toyota, they'd fix it no questions asked. I know I have a Toyota too and it never never let me down and service at various dealers I have visited puts BMW to shame. I can't understand why BMW insist on half ass repair job knowing you'll be back with same issue again. Its a freakin 380 part for heavens sake! Just replace it, don't give me some re-manufactured crap or give me a software band aide, replace the damn defective pump.

Yes.

No. HPFP failure is not related to oil temperature.

Limp mode means the turbo shuts off and you can continue on reduced power.

Not for oil temperature related limp modes.

For HPFP problems, there can be various symptoms:
- car won't start, or starts with difficulty
- car shuts off while running, can be restarted
- car shuts off and won't restart
- car enters a limp mode and runs very rough

Take your car to the dealer ASAP.
