a lot of us on this forum are running tunes. i myself have a jb3. these tunes increase the amount of boost our turbos are running. this obviously adds more strain onto the turbos maybe shortening their lifespans. how long can we expect our turbos to last with our tunes and what should someone do if they're planning on keeping the car for a long time and their turbos die?

giving a time frame of how long the turbos will last with a tune is impossible because no one will ever no....it also depends on how the OPs drive their cars with tunes...If you go WOT all the time vs a person with a tune that drives the car normal like its not tuned and occasionally WOTs the car, i bet the turbos will last longer than the OPs that do WOT all the time....I have the V3 in my car and I would say when i drive the car, I hardly ever even floor it, but modding the car is for enjoyment and enthusiast point of view!!
