The decision was made and... drum roll... 330i ordered!
Thanks to everyone for all the great information on this site. It was all critical to my decision and for this I salute you!
 It was a close decision between the 330i and IS350, but the German engineering prevailed in the end. Here is the config: 330i Manual Alpine White Terra Leather Premium Package Sport Package Nav Heated Seats Spoiler Anything important I should know about for the ordering and delivery process? Any recommendations for making sure the car gets ordered and into production as soon as possible? Any thoughts would be appreciated. The waiting's going to kill me... but I realize how lucky I am so I guess I'll deal  |

Congratulations! I made the same choice, though picking the 330i over the IS350 was a fairly easy decision -- I wanted a MT and needed a larger back seat. Picking the 330i over the G35 was a little tougher decision, but still not that hard.
It takes 6-8 weeks to get your car. I'm currently awaiting transport at the port of exit (Bremerhaven). I ordered 3 weeks ago. I figure another 4 weeks or so until I get the car.

Congrats! You are going to love your car. I see about a gazillion e46 3 series in the valley but not a lot of e90's. Welcome to the club
 I think there is a guy here who lives in Draper that has your same color combo. I am sure its gonna look hot!

I called into BMW today and the car is in the body shop with an estimated completion date of July 14th. Seems things are moving along just fine. Any ideas how long now for a West Coast delivery?
