Someone asked earlier in this thread and I really didn't see an answer. Having the ability to switch out maps, especially "on the fly" doesn't really seem THAT great. I mean, dropping to valet mode will work fine, but then trying to go back to high boost mode and now you gotta re-adapt right? It would be SOO much better to change the actual ECU (DME) map and not the piggy-back map. I know, that is a "whole-nother" issue.

it'd be soo cool if they could hook up the jb3 with the voice command from the idrive...like press the button and say whatever map # and there u got it..but it probbly would get too technical

But I cannot see it offered with this throttle method and so I'd like to understand how you would map switch if you are using the throttle option and don't have Rix's gauge or a remote. |
