Nov. 8th Central Texas Meet and Drive

A bunch of BMW owners are getting together for a meet and drive on November 8th up to Llano for some of the best BBQ in the state. There are a couple of places where you can join in. The starting point will be in Hempstead. We will then drive up to Austin via a few backroads for a pit stop. A couple of Austinites who have expressed interest in meeting up can join us there. We will then drive up to Llano for a BBQ lunch at Coopers. Here are the details:

Start

9:30 AM @ the McDonald's in Hempstead off of 290. The address is:

1005 Austin St.
Hempstead, TX 77445

We will take a few pictures and try to leave by 9:45 AM.

Pit Stop

Between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM @ the Chevron gas station on Bee Cave Road (2244) just off of MoPac (Loop 1). The address is:

2710 Bee Cave Rd.
Austin, TX 78746

We will fill up, grab some snacks, meet up with any Austinites who want to join us, and try to leave by 12:30 PM.

Final Destination

1:45 PM @ Coopers BBQ in Llano. The address is:

604 W. Young St.
Llano, TX 78643

We'll grab lunch, take some more pictures, and everyone can decide how they want to return to their respective destinations.

The following is a link to a map of the route that I've planned out. Obviously, this is subject to suggestions and modification.

If you're interested in going, please respond in this thread on M3post. We've already got about 7-10 people from Houston, Austin, Dallas, Killeen and College Station, but I'm hoping we can get even more. I'll PM all interested parties closer to the date to confirm attendance. It would also be good to get cell phone numbers before we leave to coordinate everything and to make sure no one gets lost. Hope to see a bunch of Texas guys and girls out there.
