I think the Gas pedal is a great idea, but it can get confusing with too many maps. A Valet/Highboost pedal switch would be the best in my opinion, I never drive low boost anyway. So pedal down 3 sec. Valet. Pedal down 3 sec. + 1 down High... Perfect.

Why not both. Ship with the pedal option, and then offer the remote option at an extra charge for the people who want it.

+1 I really don't want a fob to change maps - but it looks like others like that option.

If you don't have boost guage then your other option is buy Rixeffect vent guage and change the map with that!! Problem solved..

I didn't either and got the Rix gauge. The gauge looks unbelievable and integrates so well into the interior of the car.

yes it's a unbelievable guage, but remember it also CHANGES the FOUR maps on the guage itself also, so all this crap about deciding how to change it whether fob or gas pedal would be a moot point if you purchase this gauge or already have it installed!!

cn555ic, I agree that it is a wonderful product. Changing maps on the gauge is deliberate and that takes error out of the equation. Plus you can monitor boost either way to make sure you have the correct map. It is a no brainer to me.

I was trying to say add the gas pedal switch since it's in software, and if people want something external, it's an add on.

RIXSTR---

Doesnt the ECU need time or WOT runs to effect the final change between maps? Please explain.

(wireless, of course)

Really?
The pedal works like this: 1 = 1
2=2
3=3

The fob works like this: on = 1
on then off = 2
on then off then on = 3

Come on, pedal is more straight forward, or is it just me?

yeah but your forgetting about holding the pedal for it to get into map switching mode then assigning the map with the pedal presses and then pressing it multiple times more for boost precision...then things start getting really confusing
