Iforged trouble...any ideas?
I purchased a set of 19" Essens about two months ago. From day one I haven't been able to get them balanced perfectly. I have had them done twice at NTB, and then tried getting them road forced balance at Firestone on a Hunter machine...still no improvement??? So then yesterday I went to performance shop that has a Hunter Road Force machine, and they finally uncovered my problem. Both of my front wheels are out of round. ARE F'ing kidding me!!! I pretty sure Iforged is going to be little to NO help.
What are my options here? Buy two new barrels??? |

yeah, having the barells or the centers to be a hair off will cause it to be out of round. unfortunately, the only way they'll do something is if/when you caught it before mounting the tires & driving it on the car.
i bet, within a 95% certainty, that when you call and ask them if anything can be done, that they'll ask if it was mounted and driven on. and about 100% certainty that they'll pass the buck to poor driving....... I used to work for a very small forged wheel company before, but we'd always try to solve problems & complaints to make the customer happy. Sorry for this situation, but Iforged quality control is something to be desired.. |

Try purchasing hubcentric rings. That would most likely improve your ride.

I don't think hub centric rings will help unfortunetly. I say this because the wheel fits nice and snug on the hub....
I just want people to be warned that all though these wheels do look spectacular. BUY SOMETHING ELSE....like DPE or HRE where quality and customer service are included in the price. |
