But on track it does 12mpg. 3 better than a mates E46 M3. Never noticed any sensitivity with my map. On my 4th now i think. Best one yet.

Is that the 4th on the same car or on different cars? The issue I had was that there was very little pedal travel until you got the full wack of power which was difficult in traffic.

Yes it was too responsive. Can't believe I am saying that but it was a pain in traffic. Perhaps it was a bad map on my particular car? I want to have my wifes X5 3.0sd mapped by DMS and might ask them to remap mine with the normal map and see how that goes.

Yes this is the second map on the same engine. The first was the usual DMS 35d map which they came back and 'tinkered' with to move the torque a little higher. I must say though that after I had the second map the throttle travel seemed more Oe and also the gearbox runs in a higher gear (like not mapped) whereas on the first map the throttle map was a little short and the gearbox felt like it was in sport mode all of the time (no difference when I switched the box from normal to sport mode). DMS are brilliant and very accomodating.

Did you go to DMS premises or did an agent come to you?

One of the DMS guys came to me.
I would be interested in your findings re the sport mode. Also if you cruise at 50mph in top gear waht revs are you showing? (trying to see what gear the car is in to see if the map chnages the gearbox settings too).
