Is this Winter Setup OK????

17X7.5 Sport Edition A7 Silver Painted with

205/50R17 XL Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25
Blackwall tires.

On 2007 BMW 335i Sports Package

I know it is recommended to go with 225/40/18 but will this be suitable?
Does anyone else have this setup?

Tirerack has this setup for 980 plus shipping

Sounds similar to mine. I did the A7's with Conti Winter Contact TS810's in 225/45-17. Don't forget to add TPMS, unfortunately it'll bump your price up ~$200.

i was told i the TPMS was not required. I think im going to skip that part. And itstead of the tires previously posted was thinking about going with the Dunlop 3D 225/45/17's instead.

From my understanding, the TPMS isn't 100% required, but you'll get an annoying chime for a minute or two every time you start up.

btw, I'm rockin' an AW e92 as well. Best color for the car!

without tpms you get one beep at startup, follwed by the light flashing for about 30 seconds and then staying on solid. its not an annoyance at all, i dont even notice it anymore. and it has absolutely no effect at all on the traction control systems which some people tried saying it did.
