**SOLD**: 17" Tires - Continental ContiProContact 225 & 245s **SOLD**
I decided to remove my Continentals and replace them with winter tires. So, I've got the following 17" staggered tire set up for sale: Continental ContiProContact (staggered setup) Front tires are 225/45 R17 (fits rim widths 7.5" to 9") Rear tires are 245/40 R17 (fits rim widths 8" to 9.5") Tread depth remaining ~9/32" for all tires. Tires were manufactured in Sept 2007 (DOT 3607 & 3707). I've had them from last November, and they've got ~4000 miles on them. Tires have never been kerbed. Priced when new = $552 (reference: Tire Rack) I'm asking $300 o.b.o. Local pickup (Seattle, WA) is preferred, but will deliver at buyer's cost. Thanks for looking! Please PM if interested. Left Front Tire: Right Front Tire: Left Rear Tire: Right Rear Tire: All bagged and ready to go! Last edited by Rick Hunter; 11-14-2008 at 11:15 PM.. |

Here's some additional details about this set of tires on sale (since several members have brought up good questions):
These Continentals are Grand Touring All Season Tires. They're non-runflats, so that means no tramlining issues. And they're Uniform Tire Quality Grade (UTQG) rated at 400 AA A. These tires will go a long way before needing replacements. Overall, they offer a pretty comfortable ride with low noise. So how about it... any takers? |

Bump for a great seller! I bought a set of stock tires from Rick before and they were 100% true to the descriptions.

Do you have a zipcode I can check with?
Assuming ~ zip=94203 (just plucked it out of google), shipping's about $100 through UPS. Thanks for inquiring. I'll also send you a PM. |

I don't visit Vancouver that often (although I should - the food's just awesome), but I'd be willing to meetup halfway (like @ Seattle Premium Outlets or Burlington). Could always do some Outlet shopping
UPS Standard shipping has it @ ~$125USD total to Vancouver. If you can find less expensive shipping, I can do it your way. Thanks for inquiring. I'll also send you a PM. |

Thanks Rick,
food is great here in Vancouver, if you bring me the tires, I buy you dinner. its a nice idea if we can meet half way, do you think the trunk is big enough to fit all 4 tires? the Premium Outlets you are referring to is @ exit 202, right? if it is, I go there all the time, every month to do shopping.

Your trunk should fit 3 tires. You might have to put 1 (or 2) of the tires in the back seat, but I don't think there will be any issues. You just can't bring 4 of your friends to shop, that's all.
If you're still interested, lemme know. I can arrange a time to meetup @ SPO. And yes, it's exit 202. |

Rick,
the problem with putting 1 or 2 tires in the back seat is customs will tax me for extra $$$ honestly, put it this way, if you can sell locally or ship out to buyers in USA please do. I can wait and I have to find ways to avoid paying tax and duty. thanks
