Squeaky Brakes and Warranty

My brakes sqeak right after I start the car and I am pulling out of a parking spot or my garage but after that they don't sqeak. I called parkshore today and they said it might be rust or something but I am taking it in to be looked at. I asked the service guy if it's covered under warranty because I only have 13000km but its more than a year old. He said he has to look at it to see if its under warranty. Do you guys think they are going to charge me to look at my brakes?

you TELL them, its under warranty... i never ask. I get in there, have them look at it...then when it comes time to do the work, i say "alright, well im glad this is all covered by warranty"

when you ask the QUESTION, that exposes your doubt...makes ya ripe picking for them to pull one out of your ass and feed it to you.

Looks like I'm on my third go around with this issue. Both prior times they did complete brake jobs without any arguing once they heard it. I'm scheduled to take it in for a sunshade repair this week and I just started to hear it again today. It has only been a couple of months at the most since the last time they fixed it.

OP was about squeaking while starting from a dead stop. This is NOT NORMAL, do not let your dealers bullshit you.

The whole thing is just a pain in the ass inconvenience. Since I'm on my third event I wonder about the CA Lemon law applying???

after the third time yea something sounds fishy, but i had this problem last summer so im not sure if its due to just cold brakes, took it in to get looked at, and they just said it was nothing to worry about, but it went away after a week or so and i never had any problems again.
