new style auto gear selector

i really like the look of the new auto gear selsctor on the 6 series does anyone know if this will fit a 3 series?

I have got one of the new style 'joystick' controllers in the 5er. It stays in the centre and is one touch to select drive, reverse (similar apprach to the wipers/indicatrors) and it automatically engages park on exit.

Based on that, i dont think you can swap in the lever..
