Just get the euro license plate bracket for the rear. Google it. I think Bavauto sells them.

Gotta get a european license plate frame. Frame has holes in the back and can screw directly to the U.S. license plate holes. Then you pop your plate in and part of the frame snaps on over your plate. If no european plate frame then you gotta drill holes in your plate. But my plate is held on by a european license

Here's a better pic. I have the U.S. license plate bracket and the euro plate frame bolts to that.
