kosei K1 + M/T street radial

ok..can the kosei 17x8.5 rims fit the 275/40?...also will it be able to fit on a e90 335i with non-sport suspension? thanks in advance. if it will im definitely ordering the pair if i can find a site that sells both items(cheaper shipping) so i can use it for the end of the year drags.

recommended yes, but does that mean you cant mount them and drive a 1/4?

I was thinking of the same setup, I believe others HAVE done it.

Yes. I used to run K1's on the rear with BFG Drag Radials 275/40/17. I sold that setup after I got bored drag racing .

It worked just great!

where did you buy 275/40/17 bf DR's?

***gary@tirerack*** do you guys have these tires? if so i'd settle with these because i dont think the extra traction from the M/T will be worth the extra charges for shipping by buying rims+tires from two separate sites.

***i am mainly asking for the BF T/A drag radial and not radial2...since i've bought the first one before and loved those.

***hey gary or anyone else, i didn't know you had hoosiers in 275/40 so i'll just go with those because its a hassle going through summit for M/T for shipping and my friend had good results with those. anyone have pictures of those since i can't find them.

All drag radials that BFG made in 275/40R17 are the old tread pattern, which is known as the RA2. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....+Drag+Radial+2

These are on backorder, with 60+ days ETA, sorry.

We can special order the Hooser drags in that size, typically takes about two weeks. A google image search revealed the near-slick tread pattern :

ah shoots!!! :-( i needed them for next week drags :-(...big bummer. i guess i'll hold off on the order for the hoosier 275/40/17 drag radials and koseis till jan for the next drags. i guess i'll look for some decent street tires and go from there.

***so you dont have two 275/40/17 hoosier drag radials in stock that could come before the 15th? the last two times i ordered from you guys it came within 4days so i figured if its in stock it may work. but two weeks would be too late :-(

Yeah... not being in stock is the problem. Let me double check with my purchasing dept to see if we can somehow get a faster shipment from Hoosier. I'll post results.

***edit : I can have them in our South Bend inventory by weeks end! Call me to order if interested.
