Clarification needed on BMW Performance Suspension
I've looked extensively at the the threads and RealOEM and am still a bit confused. I have an '06 330i and am trying to figure out the difference between the following two kits.
33500444832 which costs about $985 at United BMW plus 4 springs at about $80 a piece 33500429574 which costs about $522 at United BMW and does not require the extra springs. Setting the springs aside, what is the difference in the two kits besides $463. I looked at Mr. 5's excellent post http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172909 but couldn't find this information. Can someone explain. Note that I have the SP package on my car if that makes a difference.

The kit with part number ending in 832 is meant for the 135i. It has some extra components in addition to the dampers.
The kit for the 3 series is the one with part number ending in 574. Of course, springs are extra in both these kits. And I suspect the installation quotes the dealerships give is for installing the 135i suspension kit which also includes the rear sway bar.

I think it has to do with production date. Some of the older E90s require some parts to be exchanged with new ones in the kits.

Jason, Please advise. Both parts are listed for my car and production based upon my VIN. I'll PM you.
