he would have had to submerge the intake while flooring it to suck up the water......
was it the factory intake?? i highly doubt this as i drove through 1-2 feet of water in miami rainstorms with my old slammed vw that the intake was 4 inches off the ground...and was fine even if submerged for a second just was careful not to use the throttle......

i also dont know anyone in their right mind who would attempt to drive their brand new car in 2-3 feet of water without stopping....so i highly doubt it was deep water i doubt he did that....

prob. the dealer just looking for an excuse....

or simply a bit of moisture in the intake and that was the easiest thing to blame...
