FS: Winters
I bought these winters off flyinggonzo couple weeks ago.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=183100 i put them on and i felt a vibration so i took them to be balanced. Still have the vibration, i think the rims need balancing again or they're bent. anyways after a rude conversation with flyingggonzo, he won't take them back, so i'm selling them off again: the tires are very quiet and still very good: - Semperit Speed Grip - 17x8 - 205/50 R17 HXL Rims are what they are, but they fit on my 325i sedan. so i'll take what i can get for them, just want to get rid of them. best offer takes them. |

Due to the Quebec legislation, winter tires are in short supply right now. If the tires are still good, you might want to simply replace the defective rim, just to cut your losses.
Did you notice if the rim & tire wobbles while on the balancing machine? If the balancing shop managed to balance them properly and the rims are not bent, then the tire is slightly out of round and you only need to replace one tire. To flyinggonzo, care to explain your side? |

I got really frustrated dealing with these and just went and got new rims and runflats from the dealer, should have done it from the start. I know it's costing me a tone, but i have a new baby so safety is a priority.
like i said the tires are still good. just the rims are iffy. i went to goodyear and they said they zeroed out the balance, if i still had a problem, then it was the aftermarket rims that are warped. flyinggonzo had them sitting in his backyard for some time, so i suspect they began to get out of shape there, (or before) |
