M3 RIMS - Will These Work on E90?
I found some used M3 rims that I think might look nice, however I'm not sure if they'll fit or if they might actually look odd. They are 17"X7.5J. So...will they fit and do people think they'd look okay? I like the 17" size, personally, although I know folks are fans of 18"+ wheels.

They'll fit, however they will be extremely 'tucked' under the fenders. If you really want them, I'd suggest picking up some spacers. 12mm for the fronts and about 15mm for the rears.

voltron: any idea if 18" wheels from an e65/66 will fit. I don't have the offset info...might be too agressive?

there's a drop down menu by "Anzeigen", change it to e65. the few i looked at all had an offset of 24, and were either 8" wide or staggered 9" front and 10" rear. 8" or 9" on the rear may be ok, but i think you'll run into problems with the 10" rear and anything on the front.

edit: looks like what I had in mind won't work, too agressive as suspected

I would check the fit before plunking down the cash. I tried my E46 wheels on my 330Xi. They did not fit. The brake caliper was hitting the inside circumference of the wheel.

I wouldn't mount those. My best friend has a 2005 330i coupe with those exact wheels. His car looks outdated next to mine. I think that would be taking a step back, rather than forward.

offsets are way off.... standard E46 rims need some big spacers to get them close to where E90 wheels currently sit... |

Yeah, I guess I'm leaning away from them. The offsets are way off, so spacers would be in order. And, they are a bit dated. I do, however, like the Z4 style 107 rims. If I was going to good around with spacers, I'd rather do it with those wheels.
