Price of cars in HK
I live in Tokyo and have a 335i M Sport e90 that I love to death. I may be moving to HK in a few months and will probably be selling my 335i and am wondering anyone from HK can comment on HK prices. I am interested in the following setup and an approx price I can expect to pay in HK.
1) loaded 2009 e90 325i with M Sport/i drive/ipod/logic. 2) same but 320i I saw prices in the bmwhk.com website, but they don't say what options are included in each of the models and whether first registration tax is included. For the 335i in Japan every option is included stock except M sport + sunroof which i paid for and with price of options. |

M Sport package costs 60,000 HKD before tax and it'll need a 85% tax. That will make the M Sport pkg cost 111,000 HKD; therefore, the conclustion is that M Sport Package means you can get a 330i for a M Sport 325i and so on. I have yet to see a single M Sport Pack 3 series in HK that was ordered from the factory. I just bought a 325i myself and as much as I like to have the M Sport Pkg, it is not a sound move as you can get a higher model instead.

Damn thats about 15USD for M Sport. I remember reading here that in countries like belguim and denmark, where BMWs are even more expensive, they install most options at the port facility not at port of original to save on taxes. I wish they did that in HK. I think the only option installed at factory is 6FL and Idrive, and pretty much everything else is retrofitted to have 100%+ taxing.
