I go to Snow a lot too, but at this point in the season it ain't worth it to travel that far for a few trails, so i'm staying local.

depends what you're into bro..you obviously don't ride aggressive park terrain. Nobody goes to boulder to get in long, good runs like you can get at hunter and vermont etc...they go for the serious rails and kickers us park junkies can't get enough of!

But i am, but at the same extent I like to mix it up. last season I got a semi concusion catching an edge on the landing of a 45 foot table top and then the rest of the day I had to take it easy so i just rode the mountain, that you cant do and enjoy at boulder.

OMG, There were a few trails open...including the most popular one among newbies (Belt Parkway). My sister also learned how to snowboard last year and she tagged along. She had an okay time, but it still might not be worth it to go up there if you just started. I hope your ass feels better soon so you can get back on that board...hehe.

Agreed... There was a good amount of snow considering it was all machine made. It was nice early in the morning. Then the crowds came in and Hellgate/Kennedy/Broadway was like trying to navigate a mall parking lot during the holidays. When they opened Belt (which had some nice pow in spots), it got a little less congested.

I didn't bring up the e92 by the way. I rolled up in an old Subaru Forrester.

Awww thank you for being soo concerned about my ......ass ?? Yeah its a high learning curve with snowboarding but i can actually get down a trail now without falling if i take my time i just started last season since a lot of my friends are boarding but i'm more of a skiier since i've been skiing like 15 years soo its kinda hard for me to go ummmm slow since im so used to zoooming down the trails Ever try Windham which is like the next exit after Hunter MT. It's not that bad there since there isnt the wild crowds like Hunter though its not as big ....the lines also arent as long !

A speed junkie...I guess that explains why you own the car you own and why you're on this board...hehe. Yeah I've been to Windham. Often times when I want to stay local I go to either Hunter or Windham (yes, I consider a 2 hour drive local). I try to stay away from ghetto a$$ Mountain Creek. In mid-season, I love goin up to the Vermont mountains.
