v3 pinout harness (non PNP)

well i just recently bought my non PNP harness from another member on here and i was wondering if anyone else has this. or am i just now one of the few who that does not have a v3 pnp?

the seller actually emailed me instructions for the installation with a few pictures here and there (which was really gracious of him.)

how were you guys able to do the install? videos? written instructions?

There is no such thing as a pin-out v3 harness anymore (since we started modifying fuel pressure). Not worth the risk.

hahah ok now im officially confused.... so whats that upgrade to v3 from the vishnu website?? where it gives about $100 off for people who bought their v1or v2 straight from you guys... thats still PNP??

so the v3 instructional video on youtube would apply to me as well?

Looks like a the DIY harness that beta testers made for themselves early in the development process. Not intended for re-sale

I bought a V3 pinout harness in Austin......Dustin installed it for me. It might be one of those. But I upgraded to the PnP

no.. it's just the harness, and at a special price for previous vishnu customers.

EDIT: i was reading previous PMs between him and i, and he did disclose that his v3 was a pinout harness, however i didnt know that it wasnt "approved" by vishnu.

~~~m3to335 is a great guy, and by no means do i believe he tried to swindle me, but i wish he did disclose that this WAS NOT a product made by vishnu.

***sorry scott, i hope that this doesnt upset you in anyway. and if you want ill even pay you $20 for all the pictures and instructions you've done in trying to explain the installation to me.

i just dont see myself installing a product that i dont deem safe. thanx... please refund the money back asap as i would like to by the product straight from vishnu.

shiv... how would i go about ordering the v3 upgrade as a customer who bought the PROcede v2 straight from vishnu?

we used the V2 Video and a written instruction for the rest of the looms, but you are probably missing the fuel control wire in that harness, so i would´t use it, it might not work with the new firmware and maps

I'd also cancel the order and get a refund. Spend your money on the lastest products like the Newer Procede "rev 2". Especially if you dont know what your buying....

ouch.. $200 is a bit high, but at the end of the day, he did disclose exactly what it was to you, and it IS a vishnu product. Whether or not YOU deem it safe is completely irrelevant, as the seller just took the functioning item out of his car.

Bottom line is, if you purchased this on ebay, craigslist, or virtually any other site, there isn't a chance in hell you would see a dime back. Chalk this one up to life experience and suck it up...
