I think it would take about 75-100WHP to pull that hard on another car. Just look at the comparisons of the stock 335 vs tuned 335...
So the 335 was probably making 320whp while the m3 was making close to 400whp. Give or take a few.... |

I'm curious as to why sticky doesn't jump into this thread to start arguing. like someone mentioned earlier....he is a member on this board. Or why doesn't he start his own thread on this whole thing? why does he only like to get into it on the M5 and M3 boards? He's so confrontationial you'd think he would jump at the chance to argue on this site.

Yeah, but that computer is a real "super-computer!!!!" With stock GT-R's running mid-upper 11's @ 118mph+ and ecu-flash tuned GT-R's running low's 11's (and some even upper 10's) at 124mph+, the GT-R is un-friggin-believable, imho.

I stand corrected, but I would still have it over the M3!

I'm not just talking about peak numbers, His car makes over 400whp almost across the whole rpm band. Now if it shot up there peaked and fell right off then I would agree with you but it doesn't.

I'd be interested in a M3 if it were that easy to get 400WHP. At least if the fuel economy didn't take a dump. As it is right now, most tuned 335i BMWs still get excellent fuel economy. The best of both worlds!

Sorry to bump an old thread, but it is for a reason.
Not banned, in timeout. Regardless, that mod Kees got pissed off and continually puts me in timeout because I beat an E60 M5 when my car was stock and the whole board got turned upside down once the mighty M5's aura of invincibility was challenged by the M3. Look, my 335 brethren, regardless of what you think, it is supposed to be in good fun. It is the internet after all, this is not reality. If you have met me in person, I think you would agree we have fun and enjoy our cars as it should be. Interpreting tone in text is not a simple matter, one's point of view can skew it. Some people asked why I did not post the video on here, the simple truth is, out of respect. See, a lot of 335 guys have gone on M3post and started talking smack. It annoys a lot of us. I'm sure it would annoy all of you if I came on here swinging my sack about the M3. What good could possibly come of it? It would just end up looking like this thread. I talk about my ride in the appropriate forum for it. Forcing it down your throat would just agitate in a manner that an M3 guy going on a C63 forum would, or vice versa. It is a matter of forum etiquette regarding BMW's, at least in my mind. I stay out of E90post as that isn't my business and not my car, plus I'm not hard to find. There are faster 335's, there are faster m3's, I just am surprised at how much angst one video has created. Come to your own conclusion. I said my piece, peace. 50,000 vs 90,000, basically a 30-40K diff in price compared to our cars... and within another year we WILL be doing 11's on the track don't ya guys think so?

Hey Sticky, will you be going to the track soon so we can see what your car can do in the 1/4 mile?
