It's still not certain.

60 votes is a hefty amount especially since some senators have already taken a break for the rest of the year.

The last bailout didn't even have 75% cooperation from the democrats on it's first try, but then again that was the house.

Seriously, I would have thought it would be General Motors because of it's size and sheer number of employees over Ford's operation, meaning it's would have been in the goverment's best interest to protect the biggest.

The only thing about Ford is it's the more successful of the two in Europe, easily out stripping GM products.

Ford will actually benefit if GM and Chrysler fail.

I'm not sure why they are supporting this measure for emergency funding.

I hope we don't bail out those greedy unions because that is who we are really going to be bailing out...

I think all three will survive with or without the bail out.
