i got clear bra but i still get rock chips. I got it from BMW. It actually penatrated and chip the paint.

Personally, I do think that paint chips so much more easily now a days. I believe paint is water based now, so that could be why. It's definitely a bummer.

i feel my bimmer's paint is better than any other car i've seen. subaru's paint is super soft. toyota paint is crap. volkswagen doesn't have great paint either

if it went through ur clear bra it's covered under warranty. So far mine has been holding up very well. But the stock kit that bmw sells sucks big time. i got my entire front covered

If your bra is being perforated odds are it's a pretty poor quality film. The good films from 3m and ventureshield are usually better than 3mm; takes quite a bit to perforate them.
