Best tires $1K for 19" CSL

Guys,

Needing some help on choosing a good performance tire with good wet
traction in the $1K range. These tires will accompany 19" CSL staggered
wheel E90 sedan. I'm reading 235/35/19 F and 265or275/30/19 R, any advice
will be greatly appreciated. GY F1 assy, GS-D3, Nitto, Falken are some of the
names I have picked up on in this forum.

Thanks,
Wig

Depends what you are looking for, but the Nitto Invos are great tires. And you also cant go wrong with GSD3's. Those would be my top picks.

Yes, GSD3s are fantastic tires as are the Nitto INVOs. If you can splurge a tiny bit, the Advan Sports are also a tire to look at.

All great suggestions so far, I'd also throw in the Pilot Sport PS2s if you want a top end tire.

Bridgestone RE-01R's are one of the best performance tires for the money in my opinion. Check them out

The GS-D3 do not come in 235/35/19, would I use 225 or 245?
Are the F1 Asy better than the GS-D3?

Thanks,
Wig

I have the F1 asymmetrics, they're on par with the PS2.

How many miles have you put on them? How would you compare them in terms of road noise with PS2s?

I hear great things about the new nittos.

Personally at that price range I like the Bridgestone Pole positions and the Yokohama.

I know it's a stupid question, but which high-performance tire gets the best tread rating? The roads in FL are horrible, so I'm curious.

What are these Nittos Invos selling for in the 19" staggered set-up and
where is the best place to purchase? Also, what are the chances of
this tire picking up nail etc with the exposed tire
