Hi guys!

Im just wondering what do you think about BMW 3-Series Hi_Fi Systems ?
Personally, I think they're quite poor. Haven't heard the Logic 7 one.

I'm quite enthuzed when it comes to listening music loud and so far, I've had aftermarket sound systems on all my cars.

Im soon going to order my E90 and I'm still gathering info on what extras to get and what NOT to get, because as much as I like to listen to my music loud, I just don't want to go to that horrible feeling when you see the car stripped down of everything in order to install the new sound system.

My question is this: Is the Logic 7 worth getting? I'm now driving for a few weeks a 2005 Audi A6 3.0tdi Quattro with Bose Sound System and it's pretty good for me, does bmw's come close to this one ???????????

Well, mine came with Logic7, so it was something I had to take. But I will tell you this--it sounds tons better than the standard audio system in my former X5.

I have the BOSE in my SUV and I have the Logic 7. They are comparable in sound and quality. The 7 is pretty loud for factory and the bass is decent but not earth shattering. Don't expect to be bouncing in your seat becasue of the vibrations. You do have 13 speakers that pump out pretty clear sound and I think the system has about 400W. I know someone posted it so a quick search will yield the asnwer as well as speaker placement. I would go to the dealer and take your favorite cd and go for a test drive to hear for yourself what the sound is like. I know that it is better than the regular stock system. It is standard on the 330i as well.

Audi Bose system is very good. The Logic 7 is truly great, rivalling many aftermarket systems I've listened to. Very clean sound. Bass is right once you get the EQ settings correct.

And this top of the line when it comes to sound systems on E90's, right? Or is there another level ? 10x a lot for your imput guys.

There was a link to a BMW vs Audi review and FWIW the Logic 7 was rated as better than the Bose. I haven't heard any BMW stereo (but ordered logic 7 anyway for my 325). I have heard Bose in the Audi (not as impressed as I expected) and in the G35 I'm driving now (ditto)

I had the BOSE premium system in my G35 coupe and it sucked, big time. No mid-range and dull base. The Logic 7 in my 330 blows it away. Listenening to Van Halen at 3/4 volume is crystal clear!!!!

Yeah Logic 7 is standard on the 330i and it's the best you can get from BMW on the 3 series. I think it sounds incredible, but I haven't really compared it to the 325i system.

Standard on the 330's in north america... might be (probably is) different in Romania.

Logic 7 does sound a LOT better than the crappy stock system in my 325. I was impressed by the stock Logic 7 in LWL's car. BUT. It's still not as good as you can get it if you upgrade it yourself. It's like a $2,000 option --you might as well save that money and build up your own kickin system for around the same price. The only cool thing about Logic 7 is the center speaker. I'm going to do some research about retrofitting a center speaker in the stock location (now that I've seen where it is). But at that point We're talking about getting a 5.1 ch amp and decoder to make it worth it... which is really going to start complicating things.

Std with 330i in the US, but NOT in Canada.

I have L7 and enjoy it. I have also listened to the upgraded Bose system in an A3 and an A4, and find the L7 to be better.

I have the base system in my 325i. I mainly use my ipod with it and to be quite honest i have no complaints. I am sure the L7 system is better but the base system is FAR from being bad. I came from a stock 02 Honda Civic stereo so maybe i dont have 1000's in stereo equipment to compare it against but in all honesty its a great system, one of the better Stock stereos that ive heard.

I think once you listen to it you can hear for yourself if it is worth it if not standard equipment.

FINALLY!! a stock system i dont HAVE to upgrade/ replace!!! im soo happy
its sounds GREAAAT!! and i listen to dance/ pop/ rock music.
it will even take some rap/ hip hop as long as its at human levels.

i love it! (logic 7) and has the different DSP settings and full EQ! and speed control volume
